Tasting

Its colour is a deep red with purplish tints. The nose, like the palate, is fruity, with aromas of red fruit, cherry, blackcurrant and black berries. Then spices appear, such as sweet pepper, with a liquorice finish and a hint of minerality. The wine is round, full-bodied, smooth and well-balanced, with silky tannins and a fine finish.

Food pairing

This wine is an excellent accompaniment to cold meats, red meat, white meat, poultry, grilled meat, game, sauces, cheese and chocolate or red fruit desserts. Ready to enjoy, this wine can also be kept in the bottle for several years. It should be served at around 16-17°C.

TERROIR AND GRAPE VARIETIES

Vineyard planted on sunny hillsides with clay-limestone soil. Selected parcels of GRENACHE, SYRAH and CARIGNAN, averaging 40 years of age. Yields are controlled.

Winemaking

The grapes are sorted and picked by hand. The grapes are brought to the winery by gravity to keep them intact. The whole bunches are fermented and macerated in the traditional way for 8 to 10 days, allowing our terroir to express itself while respecting its biodiversity.
